Meet Your Groomer

Hi - I'm Kellie.

With over 18 years in the pet care industry and 13 years of grooming experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs look and feel their best.

I proudly hold City and Guilds Level 3 & iPet Level 3 qualifications, plus recently in 2026 now hold an iPet qualfication in Canine Oral Health & Hygiene. I also continue my professional knowledge where I can by attending seminars and grooming events to keep up to date with grooming practices and learn new skills to put to the test.

In an unregulated industry this knowledge and continued development, for me, is an indispensable tool, reflecting my commitment to delivering expert care with a creative touch.

I am fully insured, canine first aid trained, and have extensive training in dog behaviour, ensuring your pet is in safe and capable hands at all times.

Hounds on the Hill was born from the heart, inspired by my own canine crew:
Jarvis, my Cocker Spaniel and first-ever dog;
Elmore, my loyal Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and
Edith, a whirlwind of energy, Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

They remind me daily why I love what I do. Grooming is about more than just appearances; it’s about your dog’s well-being.

I aim to work with you to achieve and maintain your dog’s coat at its optimum condition, offering tips and education on at-home coat care. Together, we can make grooming a positive, stress-free experience and keep your dog looking and feeling fantastic between salon visits.

To me, comfort is key, which is why I specialise in practical pet trims suited to benefit both you and your dogs lifestyles, yet I can also produce quality breed-standard pet trims, or a provide a top quality de-shed for shorter haired breeds, I tailor every session to suit your dog’s unique needs.

Above all, my mission is to create a partnership with owners to promote the health, comfort, and confidence of every dog I have the pleasure of grooming.
